UMBAU (conversion) means the continuous transformation of existing structures: The exhibition in Hamburg is discussing four out of sixty projects of UMBAU by gmp: The focus is on the recently reopened Alsterschwimmhalle, supplemented by an excursus on the gmp conversions in Hamburg - from 1977 to today.
